Cassidy Edwards is a writer and filmmaker living in the Washington, DC area. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Entertainment and Film and Media Arts from American University, where she was heavily involved in several student organizations, including the professional cinematic arts fraternity, Delta Kappa Alpha, and the AU Rude Mechanicals theatre troupe. She has also worked as a Multimedia Transcript Editor with National Capital Contracting and is currently a Screening Volunteer for the Austin Film Festival.

Cassidy is an active member of Women in Film and Video (WIFV), where she has volunteered for several community events and helped out on multiple short films. Cassidy has experience working as a producer, director, writer, production assistant, casting director, and editor across several different projects, making her a versatile member to have on set.
